As nurse educators, we come to higher education sharing our expertise in the art and science of nursing. Yet, this expertise doesn’t always translate into good teaching and learning. During this experiential workshop, learners will use specific strategies to engage dialogue and experience learning from the learner’s perspective. Learners will use NLN Advancing Care Excellence (ACE) resources to move beyond the monologue in teaching, to provide insights in how it felt to be a learner, to listen for understanding and to assist learners to “think like a nurse”.
