Purpose: To equip nursing faculty and simulation educators with the knowledge and skills to effectively evaluate simulation experiences using Simulation Effectiveness Tool–Modified (SET-M) SET-M tool, ensuring evidence-based improvements in teaching, learner engagement, and curriculum design.
Speaker: Rose Kronziah-Seme, PhD, MSN, RN, CHSE is an Assistant Professor with expertise in nursing education and clinical simulation. Her responsibilities include curriculum development, teaching graduate-level courses, and leading simulation-based learning initiatives. She is passionate about improving learner outcomes through evidence-based evaluation tools like SET-M and advancing faculty development in simulation pedagogy.
Objectives:
- Explain the purpose and components of SET-M
- Analyze the role of SET-M in evaluating learner outcome
- Apply SET-M in practice to evaluate simulation session
- Critically appraise validity and reliability of SET-M
